It is a privilege to serve God’s people at Christ Alone, to serve the children and families of our school and preschool, and to reach out with the good news of Jesus in the Mequon / Thiensville community.  Before coming to Christ Alone, I served congregations in Bozeman, MT; Deltona, FL; and most recently in Appleton, WI. 

I was born and raised in Fort Atkinson, WI and am grateful for the Christian education I received at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Fort Atkinson and Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien.  After high school, I spent three years on active duty in the US Army stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI.  After my enlistment, I returned to school, graduating from Martin Luther College in 1999 and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2004. 

My wife is Missy, we were married in 1999.  She is also a graduate of Martin Luther College and has served many years as an early childhood educator and kindergarten teacher.  We have three children: Lindsey (19), Josh (16), and Greta (14).  In my free time I enjoy fishing (especially the catching part), other outdoor activities (except shoveling snow), and following most of the Wisconsin sports teams.
