Men’s Ministry Breakfast
What does it mean to be a man? Why is godly manhood so challenging at our time, yet so vital to the welfare of our society? What is your goal as a distinctly godly man?
The Men’s Ministry of Christ Alone Lutheran Church warmly invites men and their sons (ages 12 and up) to a free breakfast and presentation on Saturday, February 28, from 9:00 to 11:00a.m. at our South Campus Fellowship Hall (10001 N. Cedarburg Rd in Mequon).
Following a hearty breakfast from 9:00-9:30, Dr. Daniel Johnson, President of Wisconsin Lutheran College and longtime educator, will present the topic, “Pressing On as Men of God: For Such a Time as This.” Based on the thoughts of Philippians 3:13-14, we will explore what it means to press on as men of God in today’s rapidly changing world, anchored in Scripture and empowered by the Gospel. We will examine the pitfalls that we face daily and a way forward in Christ.
